Trinitia has been in love with music since she was able to crawl under the kitchen sink to “play” her mother’s pots and pans, but it wasn’t until she joined the Olivet Baptist Church (Chicago, IL) as a young adult that she acknowledged God’s call to serve Him through the ministry of music. Recognizing that the Call of God is a call to preparation, Trinitia purchased a music book and began to teach herself some music fundamentals. As she continued to grow, Trinitia completed several courses at Eastern College of Music and studied piano and voice with Chicago Gospel Music Legend Elsa Harris of Harris House of Music.
Trinitia has served in Music Ministry in the church in various roles including: Choir and Praise Team Member/ Leader, Section Leader, Director, Minister of Music and more. She is a former Faculty Member of the National GMWA Academic Division, a former local member of the Chicago Metro Chapter of GMWA (where she served as a Board Member and past Choir President) and former member of the Chicago Area Gospel Announcers Guild (an auxiliary of the National GMWA). Trinitia has also sung with community and professional recording choirs such as the AARC Mass Choir, Braxton D. Shelley & Testimony, Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc. Mass Choir and the Gospel Music According to Chicago (GMAC) Mass Choir.
Trinitia Green currently serves as Minister of Music, among other leadership roles, at the Historic Olivet Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois, and is a member of the Gospel Music According to Chicago (GMAC) Mass Choir. Trinitia is a songwriter, motivational freelance speaker and writer for blogs as well as the published author of “Principles and Practices of Highly Effective Choir Members” (book and journal).
Trinitia’s motto is “Do it with a spirit of excellence and do it ALL to the glory of GOD!” Although she has come a long way from “playing” the pots and pans under the kitchen sink, Trinitia is still just as excited and passionate as ever about Leadership excellence in Music Ministry. She shares her many gifts, talents, knowledge and expertise through ALL 4 HIM Ministries Inc. and Dream Trinitia Green.
